Meet the MG Spotlight of the month:

Valentina Pizano

"My name is Valentina Pizano and I am waiting for a misisonary:) His name is Elder Daley and hes serving in the Detroit Michigan mission. He left december 9 2011 and comes home december 7, which is in 3 months!!! We met at my bestfriends surprise party on August 6th 2011, which was being held at my missionaries best friends house. my bestfriend and his best friend dated so it was a match! I at the time had a boyfriend but was in a verbally bad relationship and was going to break up with him the day after her party. I stayed late at her party and Mark my missionary quickly showed interest in me by always talking to me and just getting to me. I fell for him so fast and don't regret ever falling for him. After the day we met, he got my number from his best friend and ever since then we hung out everyday and talked everyday. He showed me what true love was. I didn't believe in love because I was in so many bad relationships, that I thought it just didnt exist. He gave me a reason to trust. He has become my bestfriend. I can tell him anything and he knows how to make me feel better when im not. Even on the time of month he just makes me feel better. I love that were both night owls, I remember starting at 11pm at night to talk on the phone and we would end at 6 in the morning and still not be bored while talking to eachother. I didnt ever think I could find a man like the one I have in my life. Im am so proud of him and his choice to serve the lord. Something I have always loved about my missionary is that he has brought me closer to heavenly father, he makes me want to become a better person. Now that I have less than 3 months left, my advice is three things. 1) Keep yourself busy, this is super important to do because times will slow down and you want to make sure you can do something to get your mind off of it. 2) Keep yourself positive. Satan wants to see you worry, he wants to see you sad all the time, dont give him that, keep telling yourself it WILL WORK OUT, HE IS WORTH IT! and last but not least 3) Stay close to heavenly father. He will always be there for you, if you keep close to him and his son Jesus Christ you will not only grow a bigger relationship with him but with your missionary too, its good when you and your missionary can both grow closer to heavenly father!"
